I gave in...twice.

I was so sure I wouldn't need a double stroller. Noah is 2 1/2 after all, and wouldn't let us strap him in much longer and I so wanted a cool, chic stroller this time around. I now know that if you have 2 kids, you need a double stroller.

Mike and I went to the mall one weekend with both kids in their separate strollers and it was NOT fun pushing them around and trying to shop. Never again.

So then came the dilemmas that come with stroller shopping: Should we get a full double, with 2 full seats? Or is a sit and stand type better?

We ended up getting the Baby Trend Sit-n-Stand LX. I never thought I'd say this, but its awesome!!! Definitely a lifesaver when you've got 2 in tow. Noah has the option to sit on the rear jump seat or stand on the platform and (this is the best part) when he's seated on the jump seat, I can buckle him in! Very important when you've got a 2 1/2 year old boy named Noah. :)

Another purchase was the Skip*Hop Via Backpack diaper bag. I'd been carrying their Duo Double, which is a great bag for 2 kids, but oh so cumbersome; it'd be better on longer trips or for traveling, but for quick trips out the Via Backpack gets the job done. Its holds everything I need for 2 all in one compact, cute backpack, plus it allows me to be handsfree, which is crucial when you've got 2.

So now I've got 2 items that SCREAM "mom"---a double stroller and a backpack. Now all I need are Crocs, jorts, and an LL Bean cardigan set. GAH!

You're funny. If I see you in a pair Crocs and jorts, I'm going to have to slap you. ;p You're the "hip mama," remember?

Haha! I've got the Schwinn double jogger... side-by-side. You can really see us coming! And I only wear my crocs around the house (they are COMFY!). I don't carry a diaper bag. I drive a minivan, instead. I go back to the van if Ellie poops. And Zoe is potty trained (although we have a potty chair in the van when we need it). EVERYTHING about me screams "Mommy!" Including my kids (LOL). But my hair is stylish and I wear makeup again ;) Sometimes it is worth looking like a mommy just to actually BE a mommy :)

Enjoy your stroller!
