I love 3!

I have said this about every age up until now, but really, 3 is my favorite so far. I love that there's still a wide-eyed wonderment about him, but that he also has an understanding of rules, and really knows that "no means no." I love that there aren't a lot of temper tantrums anymore because he can communicate his needs, and we can explain to him why he can't have a cookie for breakfast or why he can't have a $24 dvd set that he already has at home and he can really understand us. I love the whole potty-trained thing. Its awesome. :) I love that we can take him on errands and not have to worry about a melt-down because we didn't feed him at exactly 12pm or that he didn't nap at exactly 1pm. I love not having to put him in a stroller. I love that I can tell him to stand right next to me while I put his brother into his carseat and I love that I don't have to worry about him running into the street. I love that I can ask him to put away all the Tupperware that Caleb took out and I love that he does it and he does it neatly. :) I love that I can take him with me to the salon and he can sit quietly while I get a haircut. I love the witty back and forth banter:
Me: "I don't think so, mister."
Him: "I think so mister!" :)
I love that he tells me and Mike to go on a date and that poppy and grams will watch him. I love how he has such an imagination that he really thinks 2 rocks that he found outside are his new friends (Rocko and Rocko, Jr....lol). I love that I don't have to wait until he's napping to take a shower or workout to a dvd. I love that he sleeps like a human being: in bed at 8, up at 6. I love that he doesn't go through the teething stage anymore. :P
I could go on and on...but really, 3 is such an awesome age! I wish they could stay 3 forever... :)

Good stuff. :) I'm loving 2 for all the things you mention but I'm also looking forward to 3 since it can only get better from here. Love the pics, too! It's getting mighty hard to resist the temptation of getting a new camera.
