...or high intensity interval training. For the past 3 workouts I have been varying my runs with little spurts of speed, trying to get my heart rate all the way UP...then all the way DOWN. I think I've hit a plateau and since at the moment I'm not running to train, I'm trying to run for weightloss, rather than mileage or endurance. Its funny because even though I've been walking a little more during my workouts, I've been burning more calories and sweating a ton more...I feel so accomplished!
I googled some HIIT workouts and found one that I think I'm going to stick with for awhile...Mike and I are hitting the gym bright and early tomorrow together, so I'll let you all know how it goes! ;)

Yay! I *love* (as much as you can love tortuous training! LOL) HIIT. It really kicks your bootay.
Those workouts are great, good luck with them!!
