Monday! Monday! Monday!

I don't know what is up with me but I have NOT been waking up feeling refreshed for over a week now. It might just be the early wake up call (5am), but whatever it is, it has been HARD to get out of bed in the morning! I might need to move my bedtime back to 9pm (its been 10pm lately), and with all my shows coming to an end this season, it won't be hard.

I knew this morning's breakfast would require an extra boost, so I had an extra large coffee to go with my chocolate chip nut crunch Clif bar & handful of almonds.

The boys up bright and early enjoying their breakfasts. :) I love those babies with every fiber in my being...even on Monday mornings. :)


This morning was back to the gym after 2 lazy days off. I always find my body knows when its Monday because my runs feel harder. Case in point, today I felt like I couldn't get a rhythm and felt like I was breathing harder than usual. When I looked at my HRM (heart rate monitor) though, my heart rate wasn't higher than normal. I usually start my runs with my heart rate in the 140s-150s; middle of my run, my heart rate is in the 160s; and I usually end my runs with my heart rate in the 170s, sometimes 180s. Today it was completely normal. Nonetheless my body worked hard on my 2.25 mile run (with a bit of walking on an incline) this morning, and I was completely soaking wet. I burned a total of 300 calories. Tonight Hubby said he'll do Jillian with me...we'll see if any of us are up to that tonight.

Alrighty...off to enjoy my PM cup o' joe: Millstone's french vanilla with french vanilla creamer. :)
