Mothers Day 2009.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mommies out there! :) My day has started out wonderfully...I had my favorite breakfast...not necessarily a healthy breakfast, buy yummy nonetheless.

Coffee made my way: with french vanilla creamer and 2 sugars. YUM!

Pancakes...

All my gifts were running related this year...here are pictures of some of the "loot..."
Under Armour tech tee...I love these things...this makes #3. :)
And of course the Garmin Forerunner 305, my new boyfriend. :)

And a Mothers Day thought for all of you...running related. ;)
Motherhood starts with sacrifice — the body gives way to bear another life. And that is just the beginning of a demanding marathon.
The fullness of a mother's sacrifice comes as she absorbs the extent of her commitment, and trains her feet to move to the beat of her heart. First with baby steps — feed, clean, comfort. Then with energetic sprints — the giving of time, the giving of goods, the giving of self. And eventually — hopefully — with long, even, confident strides that endure at a steady pace and see the child through to adulthood.

And how does the race end?

The pace they set — love, sacrifice, love, sacrifice — relays to the next generation.
