TGIF, Jillian, Randomness.

Finally Friday! :) For some reason, this week has exhausted me. I haven't woken up feeling refreshed, like I usually do, AT ALL this week, and I have felt like I needed a nap every day this week. Sigh. But despite all of that, I have managed to get some type of workout in everyday this week, with the exception of Sunday (my usual rest day). AND I have managed to drop 2-3 pounds since last week, which is always a good thing. :)

This week I became reacquainted with Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred and love it for quick workouts. In 20 minutes, I manage to drip in sweat, get my heartrate up to the 160s, and burn almost 200 calories. Its fantastic! I love it so that I picked up another one of her DVDs, Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism, I can't wait to try it out. :) I eventually want to get her No More Trouble Zones DVD, and I'll have the complete Ultimate Body Makeover set. Woohoo.

Weekly Challenge: Ha. I failed this week. We had burgers yesterday for Caleb's birthday and pizza today. :P Oh well. If it was easy, it wouldn't be called a challenge. :/

Workout stats: Ran 2 miles, walked .25 miles. Burned 374 calories. (I love my heart rate monitor.)

Randoms:

I love my Nikon D40.

I wonder if I should get another pair of Asics Gel Kayanos to alternate with my other shoes. I read in this month's Runners World that shoes need 24 hours to recover from a run; that's why most people alternate between 2 pairs of shoes.

I really like running in skirts...I did twice this week!

I can't believe the whole Jon & Kate Plus 8 scandal!

LOST was really good this week...how dare they make us wait until 2010 for the new season!

I really love Noah's teachers this year...must get them each an end-of-the-year present.

Gonna go and read my 2 new tabloids...guilty pleasures!!!

Nice! I can't wait to check out the JM workouts once we get settled in STL. I need something to whoop my metabolism back into shape. :)
