Our Father's Day was quite eventful...I had planned on bringing Babydaddy breakfast in bed, per my 101 in 1001 list, but we never quite made it to the breakfast stage of the morning. I woke up to hear BD boo-hooing about something...his right eye was bothering him so he was scratching it, and amid all the scratching, his eye became really red and really irritated...he could barely open his eye and he said he could barely see out of it. This was at 6AM...we got the kids up and ready and headed out to the nearest Urgent Care.
Turns out he had a corneal abrasion, so the doc prescribed some drops for him...BD was in a lot of pain so we decided to lay low and stay in today, which was fine with me because the boys & I hadn't had a down day in awhile.
BD's medicine...

Eye drop how-to...

And because BD us militant & anal, he wrote down every single time he had to administer his eyedrops so that he can cross it off.
BD in a lot of pain trying to rest in between his every-15-minute medicine schedule.
The boys weren't letting him rest so he tried hiding. :P I told him to go into the bedroom but he wouldn't...

My mischievous little 13 month old.

My mischievous 3.5 year old...

Of course we had to have BD's favorite dinner in honor of Father's Day...steak & rice...
Nice and greasy...lol.
Long-grain rice...being Filipino, we usually prefer our Calrose Hinode but we decided to add a little flavor to tonight's meal...

Thanks for keeping tabs on me Roselyn... the NUK is a big decision, but I know I'll have to deal with it eventually. How did Noah deal when Calab was born and had a NUK? What is the age difference between the boys?
Have a good Monday...
The boys are exactly 2.5 years apart. I think Noah held on more to his NUK after Caleb was born...and he also went through so many other changes (move to a new room, started preschool) that I let the NUK thing go for awhile. We finally got rid of it at the beginning of this year...he was 3! :P I'm so ashamed!!
