Back at it...

I woke up a tad bit later than usual this morning, so it has just completely thrown me off schedule...6:30AM doesn't seem late to most people, but I am not most people and my kids usually don't sleep in that late! I walked around in a daze most of the morning until I had my daily fix of caffeine, and I was even contemplating not going to the gym again, but knew I had to...its been almost 2 weeks since I've run and I totally needed to do it today.

So I got ready while Caleb was having his morning nap (I wonder when we'll go down to 1 nap a day...as it is, he's napping around 9-10AM for an hour and again around 1-2PM for an hour; I am totally a slave to his naps!) and packed the kids up and headed to the gym. Its been so long since I'd been in the cardio room that they had added an extra wall and a massage therapy room! Anyway, I ended up running for 30 minutes and doing the elliptical (I hate that machine!) for 10 minutes. I burned a total of 493 calories in 40 minutes! Niiiiice. It motivates me to go back for more! :)

The plan is to hit the gym again tomorrow AM, and hang out with the boys in the afternoon. I have an Ombudsman meeting at 5PM...woohoo (sarcasm).

What HRM are you using again? I want one that counts calories indoors. And 500 calories in 40 mins? That's freaking awesome!
