Some healthy new choices and Monday's recap.

I've been straying a little from my "secret eating plan" because this weekend we spent a lot of time out of the house...equipped with my newfound knowledge of serving size and calories I ventured out and ate a "fastfood" meal from Subway...my new favorite is the turkey sandwich on wheat, lotsa veggies, olives, and honey mustard (only 290 calories)...

I also found a dessert that is TO DIE for:
Believe me when I say that these babies are mighty tasty...I couldn't believe they only have 40 calories!!
Anyway, moving on to today...breakfast was apple cinnamon oatmeal...
...and my all-time favorite: cottage cheese and strawberries! I swear I can eat this all day long! And I was never really a fan of cottage cheese, go figure.
We had some errands to run at Corry Station in Pensacola and needed to get lunch, so we headed to our favorite new Mexican restaurant, just across the street from the Naval hospital.
Such a neat little place...the boys love that the booths have little 19 inch TVs!
Noah enjoying some salsa verde...
Caleb enjoying some chips...
The to-die for guacamole. I exhibited self-control and dipped ONE chip...that was all! :)
I knew my main course was going to have more calories than I usually allow for lunch...I got the burrito supreme and took all the guac and sour cream off...the burrito is under there somewhere!
Babydaddy's yummy meal...I stole his enchilada. ;)
After hitting up the NEX, I needed a little caffeine pick-me-up, so I got a sugarfree Red Bull...only 10 calories per can!!
After our errands, we tried to put the boys down for a nap, and it didn't turn out so well. :P LOL. I decided to leave Babydaddy with the boys and head to the gym. I ended up doing 3 miles on the treadmill (427 calories burned!) and a Bodypump class (452 calories burned!)...it was glorious.
When I headed home, Caleb was already in bed and Noah was bathed...I had a small dinner: bowl of salad greens with fat-free Italian dressing and my favorite cottage cheese and strawberries! I actually ran out of the cottage cheese so I need to get more!
Not sure what is in store for tomorrow, but I know right now the laundry is calling my name! :P 'Til next time folks...
