We made a smooth transition to our in-laws' yesterday...when we vacay in VB, we usually split our time between the grandparents' homes so everyone can get their grandbaby fix. :) When we arrived at the Phillips' Ohana a feast was awaiting us...Grandma can cook her tushie off! :)
Noah loves him some pancit, so he dug right in...not even 2 minutes after we arrived!

That is the face of one happy boy. :)

We relaxed for the rest of the afternoon and even made a trip to the NEX so that Babydaddy can pick up the newly authorized BDUs for the Navy...

In the evening I had a much anticipated dinner out with the chicas: Mrs. M, Mrs. B and Mrs. C to be...I MISSED my VB friends so much! Nothing like hanging out with girls you've known all your life. :) We had dinner at Fire Ninja near the Virginia Beach Town Center.

My mother-in-law had made homemade pho for dinner and made me try some...I ended up eating a whole bowl! It was delish. ;) Because of my "appetizer," I only ended up getting a yellowtail roll and a salmon roll. Yummy and easy on the wallet. ;)

Mrs. M's meal...

Mrs. C to be's dish...

And Mrs. B's entree.

I definitely missed having sushi done right! :) After dinner we drove across the Blvd to the VB Town Center for dessert.
Melt, where have you been all my life?!

I ended up ordering a Nutella crepe...OH EM GEE.

And a kona mocha frappe freeze...double OMG! It was the perfect blend of coffee and sweetness. I'm definitely going to have to pick another one up before we leave.

We ended up closing Melt and talking almost another hour outside of the restaurant...like I said earlier, NOTHING beats hanging out with girls you've known all your life!!
