I've been hearing alot about Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred on the fitness boards I frequent and at first I thought it was a diet plan. When I did more research and saw that it was a DVD that incorporated cardio and strength training, I was intrigued. I'm not usually one for home workouts because I just don't have the discipline or the motivation to workout at home, but when I saw that the DVD was only $15 at Target, I decided to pick it up...you know, for those days I might not be able to make it to my Bodypump classes.
I tried it for the first time today during the boys' naptime time and O M G. It kicked my butt! The workouts are only 20 minutes long but it is NONSTOP. There are 3 circuits per workout which include 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute abs. Doesn't sound like much, right? Especially to a "seasoned" gym goer, huh? Yeah, think again. I'm going to challenge Mike to do a workout. He laughed at me when I told him I almost died.

I want to try this after all the talk on MUA! I saw the DVD on Amazon for $9 but I'm going to Netflix it instead! :)
Its T O U G H! But you're gonna love it. :) It might also make you feel really out of shape. LOL.
