Its time to take it up a notch in the fitness department. I lost weight fairly quickly after starting exercise, but I have since hit a plateau and I think the only way to jumpstart my weightloss again is to add more cardio and do the weights. I've been trying to get around it, but there's no getting around mathematics...I have to burn more calories than I consume, so more cardio with weights. Sigh. So my little quickie workouts won't cut it anymore...I guess I'm going to have to spend more time in the gym.
I plan on adding a spinning class once a week...
As well as adding an elliptical workout to my sweat sessions at the gym...
And most importantly, I NEED to add weights in there. Weight training tones your muscles and raises your basal metabolism, which causes you to burn more calories 24 hours a day. You'll even burn more calories when you're sleeping! Its a win-win.
