Because seriously, I would get fired! :P Sorry for the lack of posts this week...you can always tell when I'm PMSing because my posts are pretty sparse. That, and my energetic kids give me hardly any time to sit and post (Its 6am right now, and Caleb's asleep, giving me time right at this moment) and by the time they're in bed for the night, I am spent and usually turn the computer off and crawl into bed! Anyway, enough about that...
I have been a bad girl when it comes to the new eating plan. Well, not terrible...I'm keeping my calorie intake below 1800 calories a day, which I believe is helping with maintaining my 5lb weightloss from last week. And with this week being PMS week, that's pretty darn good. Earlier this week I had even lost a pound or 2, bringing my total weightloss so far to 6-7 lbs. Not too shabby.
My workouts were awesome last week. I attended TWO Bodypump classes and by the 2nd one, my legs were totally feeling it. I couldn't do the lunges that were required! :P This week is a different story...I worked out on Monday, and that has been it! BUT this week has been a little crazy; Caleb has had some green boogery stuff (sorry) coming out of his nose for the past several days, so I couldn't take them to the gym daycare and Noah has broken out in some kind of mystery rash all over his face and body! We took him to the doctor and he says that it seems to be viral (probably Fifth's Disease), but it doesn't itch and there's nothing else wrong with him so they didn't prescribe anything; that and viral infections usually can't be treated by antibiotics. They say it should go away in 3-5 days. I hope so because it looks horrible. :( And he starts school on Monday!!!
The weekend is turning out to be busy...Friday is Noah's open house at school, Saturday is Boo-Boo's 2nd birthday party in Mississippi, and Sunday is going to be spent at church and gearing up for a busy fall schedule!
We've got several notices of good news this week...first and foremost, we received news that my FIL's surgery last week was successful and the doctors got all the cancer out. :) PRAISE GOD. Second, my brother received word that he is leaving for the Navy's Officer Candidate School in October! He's been waiting over 6 months now...our family is super excited. Long live the navy tradition in our family. :) My brother and I were Navy brats; Dad is a retired SCPO. And Babydaddy is a Navy brat (not to mention active duty Navy!); his dad is a 38 year LDO CAPT (now retired). You better believe our boys are going to (at the very least) CONSIDER the Naval Academy to complete their college educations...or do ROTC or SOMETHING! Its in their blood! :) Anyway, the 3rd piece of good news is that our little family is taking a much-needed vacation to see our families in VA in mid-September. Yay!
Alrighty, so there it all is in a nut-shell. Sorry no pics...I still have to figure out how to upload pics to my new laptop (yes, I got a new laptop!!! Noah has decided to take over my old one, so Babydaddy got me a new one. It wasn't a hard sell, he loves to buy new electronics). But as soon as I do, there will be some pic-postin! :) Happy Thursday everyone!

I heart heart heart Body Pump and I haven't been in over four months. Just no time! I'm a big fan of Jillian's shred...makes me feel just as good as Body Pump.
I once tried to eat under 1800 calories. I think I made it to lunch:> Kudos on the weight loss, though. It's harder to do and requires way more self-control that one would like to admit!
Congrats on the good news and on making the scale move! You're fabulous!
