I was miserable yesterday. All day I thought about going to Chick-Fil-A and getting me a chicken sandwich and some sweet tea. Today wasn't so bad, although on more than one occasion I did think about getting a chicken sandwich and some sweet tea. :P But I perservered! I felt fuller today and not so grumpy. The starvation headache was almost non-existent today...all in all, it was a pretty good day. :)
For breakfast I had my new "diet coffee," as well as a cup of whole strawberries and a granola bar...I alotted a 6 oz. yogurt for breakfast but ate it as a post-workout snack instead.
Lunch was a salad with 2 tbsp. fat free dressing, 1 serving of chicken salad with 1 serving of melba toast. Yes, melba toast, people. It was actually pretty filling. :)
My afternoon snack (that I didn't bother taking a picture of) was 1/2 cup of applesauce and a sliver of laughing coow cheese (I'm starting to fall in love with this stuff again). We also made a Target run and darn Target for having a Starbucks in it...I couldn't resist, but instead of getting my usual grande iced white chocolate mocha, I got a tall sugar-free, non-fat, 1 Splenda vanilla latte. I think I found my diet drink! :)

Dinner was another salad with 2 tbsp. lite honey dijon mustard dressing, a single serving personal pizza (approx. 250 calories) and a 1/2 cup of applesauce.

Its only day 2 of my new eating plan, and already I am becoming aware of serving sizes and calories...I have
NEVER EVER EVER paid attention to serving sizes or how many calories was in something. Its a real eye-opener. Babydaddy and I were perusing the frozen food aisles at Target because it was raining cats and dogs outside and were looking at frozen Lean Cuisine meals and comparing them to the "regular" ones...what a HUGE difference in calories! We also looked at the little personal pizzas; some of them were almost 600 calories! To think about all the slices of pizza we have had over the last couple months...no wonder the weight hasn't been coming off! It was like an
a-ha moment for me. I honestly think I've been consuming
2500 calories a day before, maybe even more. It kinda (pardon the language) pisses me off to think about HOW much junk I was eating. ARGH!
Anyway, I went to the gym today kid-free! It was like a vacation! No lugging 2 kids, plus a diaper bag through the gym and then picking them up all sweaty. I was in and out, no fuss. :) I did a total of 40 minutes of cardio (30 minute run, 10 minute elliptical) and burned 475 calories. It felt great. Tomorrow will be another early gym day kid-free...love it! :)
Ok folks...off to meet with Harry, Ron, and Hermione! 'Til next time...

You can do it, girl! :)I know how hard it is to lose that baby weight. When I left the hospital after Pacey was born, I was still over 200 pounds (blush). It is a challenge to get back down, but such a great feeling when you conquer that with will power. I'm rooting for you! :)
