Junkfood withdrawals.

Today was the official start of my new secret meal plan, and so far so HUNGRY! Well, not really hungry, because believe me, I had a hard time finishing all the food alotted for today; I am moreso going through junkfood withdrawals. :P I am used to eating whatever I want whenever I want and eating according to a plan with set serving amounts was hard for me. But I survived today! Hallelujah! They say the first 3 days is the hardest, then its pretty much smooth sailing from there.

For breakfast, I actually ate breakfast! I had a much smaller coffee, sweetened with Splenda and a splash of fat-free coffee creamer. I may switch to sugar-free creamer though...I also had 15 grapes (1 serving), a 6 oz. fat free yogurt, and a chocolate chip scone ("approved" by my new eating plan).

For lunch I had a huge helping of salad greens, 1 cup of cucumbers, and 4 tbsp. of fat-free ranch. I also had 1 serving (approx. 160 calories) of fettuccini alfredo (not pictured).
By 2PM I was feeling the whole diet thing and needed a pick-me-up. I had a small apple and a sliver of Laughing Cow cheese. Right before dinner I also had another 6 oz. yogurt that I had alotted for lunch but couldn't finish.

I was famished by dinner and had another huge helping of salad greens, 1 cup of grape tomotoes and 1 cup of cucumbers, with 4 tbsp. of lite honey dijon mustard dressing. I also had one serving of meatloaf and potatoes (approx. 290 calories).
I had my 64+ oz. of water and I even worked out today! Since it had been a good 2 weeks since I'd hit the gym, I took it easy and did a 20 minute treadmill run and 10 elliptical workout. A total of 365 calories were burned. :) Sweat is definitely a mood-booster!
More tomorrow folks, I gotta catch up on my Harry Potter! :)

Is taking pictures of your food helping you to eat better? I think if I took pictures of everything I ate, I'd probably try harder...or sneak some good stuff with no pic! You're much better than I am! Keep up the great work!
