Back to the grind.

We are officially back to the grind. Noah started his new 5 days a week school schedule (well, minus the 1 day he missed yesterday) and Mommy started her new 5 days a week workout schedule. I didn't really feel like I got into a groove when Noah started this school year at the end of August, because all we could think about was our VB vacation...and because Mike was off a couple of the mornings and we took Noah to school together...in some ways, I feel like today was the start of the new school year, especially with the cool fall weather we are experiencing today! :) Anyway...I know this is also the start of me feeling like I live out of my car... :p

I have definitely put some miles on this baby since we got her at the end of 2007! BD's 2003 Camry has 56K miles on it, and the Tahoe has 42K! Hello!

After we dropped Noah off at school, I made my way to the gym...and felt myself getting excited when I walked through the doors. Even Caleb was happy to be at the Kid Kare. :) I took it slow this morning, since it had been a month since my last workout (I know, I can't believe it either) and did a 32 minute workout: 15 minute run, 15 minute walk on 2% incline, 2 minute cooldown. I burned a total of 360 calories. I'm hoping to do something a little more high-intensity tomorrow. :)

After the gym, I took Caleb home so he could nap, which he did, but only for an hour or so. We had lunch, then I made my way back to Pensacola to get Noah from school. Before we picked him up though, I took Caleb to the park next to Noah's school for a little outside time. :)

Right now Noah is supposed to be napping, but I am afraid that naptime is officially over for my soon-to-be 4-year-old because for the past couple days he has been laying in bed for an hour and NOT going to sleep. Sigh. All good things must come to an end! He actually held on to his naps for longer than most...I know some mamas who have had their 2 year old give up naps! Oh the horror! :p I live for naptime. :D

Alrighty...since the boys aren't napping, I might as well take advantage of this weather and let them run around outside! :)
